At last it's the Weekend

What a week, busy plus awful weather. Thursday we had snow and today we have a wind that feels as though it is coming straight from Siberia. Today was the day that the Library decided to mount an event to attract new reader's and some of the 'girls' were outside standing at a stall they set up at the local farmer's market. Everyone was frozen, so come on people use the free Library services available to you, there is much more to a Library than just books...have a look for dvd's, music cd's and much much more, maybe then we wouldn't have to send the poor staff out to freeze.

Here are the intrepid 'girls' all wrapped up and waiting for the rush!

As I mentioned it's the weekend and I should be dusting, cleaning and cutting the grass, how much will get done, well let's just say I'm easily distracted!

Made this image on the bus on the way home, I love this brush of many colours, it may not be the Rolls Royce of brushes but it looks cool. Would it make me sweep the floor probably not, i'd be too busy making pictures of it.

Loving the rainbow brush too! I nearly bought a polkadot dustpan and brush the other day til I realised I'm just a shopohoilic and a very reluctant cleaner so it would just stay in the cupboard!

We're always in the local library. Prob wouldn't be so much unless was doing it for R but now discovering there's good stuff for mummys too. I was shocked to learn from a friend who works there that they just chuck away old books as it's too time / resource consuming to organise giving them to charity etc. Is this the same at yours?

hmmm I haven't come across that one before, I know that in a previous library they sold a lot of books on Amazon/ebay, they also pulped a lot...here they have a large warehouse on the Industrial Est and they send loads there...glad you use the library...there are loads of good things for mummy's
The brush is definitely cool, not done any housework at all today, so, the brush would be languishing in my cupboard too ho hum
